No. The concept of WINDCore has been specially designed for use in domestic areas. The double braking system will ensure extra safety. The unique design of the outer ring and the water drop shaped center body make it extremely quiet, reduce the risk of bird strike, stop ice shed, and reduce the effect of shadow on your neighbor's property. |

Yes. Regulations in most EU countries require utilities to connect with and purchase power from small wind energy systems. Your dealer should be able to help arrange the required utility company approvals. |

Different countries will have different legislation. In France, Ireland and Sweden for example require no planning permission if the turbine fulfils certain requirements in terms of hub height and rotor diameter. For detailed information please contact your local dealers. |

No. A WINDCore 1500 can easily be installed at any existing home without the need to change any wiring or appliances. In most cases, the utility company will install a second electricity meter to measure how much surplus electricity it is receiving from the generator owner. |

If your site is unobstructed and the predicted yield from the power graph is good, then there is little need to monitor the wind. However if your wind speed is low, and the site is obstructed, then it would be worth investing in a Power Predictor which collects wind speed and wind direction data from your site. This data can be provided to you online as a full report on your location. |

The exact level of energy that the WINDCore 1500 will generate depends on a number of factors, most importantly the wind resource at the site. According to the Europe Wind Energy Association, the average house will use around 4500kWh of energy annually and, as a well sited WINDCore1500 will generate approximately from 2000kWh to 4000kWh annually, the WINDCore 1500 can significantly contribute to the energy used by the property. |

The WINDCore 1500 has a unique overpower regulation mechanism to control rotation speed and maintain system integrity and safety in high winds. The Microcomputer controlled active pitch system will always keep the rotor speed under allowed rotation speed which will ensure stable operation at high wind speeds up to 25 m/s. When the wind gets to more than 25 m/s, all blades will be pitched out and catch no more wind, acting as the second brake, and the generator will stop completely. |
